Al Ain City's Climate
Al Ain City lies deep inland in the emirate of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, near the Oman border, and is famed as an oasis city dotted with lush date palm groves. Set far from the coast, it has an extreme hot desert climate. Summers (May–September) are scorching and intensely sunny, with daytime highs typically 42–47°C and occasionally above 48°C, though its inland position keeps humidity lower and slightly more bearable than the coast. Winters (December–February) are warm and pleasant, with daytime highs of 22–28°C and cool nights of 10–15°C. Rain is rare, limited to brief winter showers.
