Andijon's Climate
Andijon lies in eastern Uzbekistan, in the fertile Fergana Valley ringed by the Tian Shan mountains, deep in the heart of Central Asia. It has a semi-arid continental climate with sharply contrasting summers and winters. Summers (June–September) are hot and dry, usually 32–38°C, with glaring sunshine and very little rain, while winters (December–February) are cold, often near 0°C and occasionally snowy. Spring and autumn are mild and pleasant, and most of the modest annual rainfall arrives during these months. The air stays dry with low humidity year-round.
