Incheon's Climate
Incheon is a major port city on South Korea's west coast, sitting on the Yellow Sea right beside the capital Seoul, with a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate and four distinct seasons. Summers (June–August) are hot and humid, usually 27–31°C, with heavy rain during the "jangma" monsoon of late June and July and the occasional late-summer typhoon. Winters (December–February) are cold and dry, with sea winds sharpening the chill, daytime highs of -2 to 4°C and periodic snow. Spring and autumn are mild, dry and pleasant, though spring can bring bouts of yellow dust.
