San Antonio's Climate
San Antonio sits in south-central Texas, USA, on the edge of the inland Edwards Plateau, and has a humid subtropical climate with long, hot summers and short, mild winters. Summers (June–September) are very hot, with daytime highs usually 33–37°C, sometimes above 38°C, and humidity that makes it feel oppressive. Winters (December–February) are gentle, with days around 14–18°C, though occasional cold northern fronts can drop temperatures quickly. Spring and autumn are pleasant but also the stormiest times, and heavy downpours can trigger flash floods in this part of Texas.
