Abobo's Climate
Abobo is a densely populated district of greater Abidjan, near the Gulf of Guinea coast in southeastern Côte d'Ivoire, and lies just a few degrees north of the equator, giving it a hot, humid tropical climate year-round with little temperature swing, typically 24–32°C. It has two wet seasons: a long rains (May–July) with heavy showers and thunderstorms, and a shorter rainy spell (October–November), separated by drier interludes, with the driest stretch in December–February when the dry, dusty harmattan wind from the Sahara sometimes reaches the coast. Humidity stays high and skies are often cloudy.
