Bouaké's Climate
Bouaké lies in central Côte d'Ivoire in West Africa, on an inland plateau well away from the coast, with a hot tropical savanna climate (Aw type) year-round and alternating wet and dry seasons. Daytime temperatures generally hold at 30–34°C all year, hottest and driest from January to March. The rainy season runs from roughly April to October, usually with two rainfall peaks bringing showers and thunderstorms, while the dry season from November to March is sunny with little rain. At the height of the dry season, the hot, dry harmattan wind carries Saharan dust that hazes the skies and sharply lowers humidity.
