Anyang's Climate
Anyang lies in northern Henan Province on the North China Plain in central China, well inland, with a temperate continental monsoon climate and four distinct seasons. Summers (June–August) are hot and humid, usually 30–35°C, with showers and thunderstorms concentrated at the peak of the monsoon, while winters (December–February) are cold and dry, typically around -3 to 5°C with little rain or snow. Spring is dry and windy with occasional dust storms blowing in from the northwest, while autumn (September–October) is cool, dry and the most comfortable time of year. Air quality tends to worsen in winter.
