Bazhong's Climate
Bazhong lies in northern Sichuan, China, in the hilly rim of the Sichuan Basin and far inland from the sea, giving it a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate. Summers (June–August) are hot and muggy, usually 28–35°C, and bring the year's heaviest showers and thunderstorms, while winters (December–February) are cool and damp with lingering cloud and fog, daytime highs around 6–12°C and snow a rare event. Spring and autumn are mild transitional seasons, with autumn generally the driest and most comfortable. The region is known for persistently overcast skies, little sunshine and high humidity year-round.
