Dazhou's Climate
Dazhou lies in eastern Sichuan, China, in an inland basin along the Qu River, giving it a humid subtropical monsoon climate. Summers (June–August) are hot and muggy, usually 30–36°C, with heavy showers and thunderstorms concentrated at the monsoon peak, while winters (December–February) are mild but cloudy and foggy, rarely dropping below 3–5°C yet feeling raw thanks to the damp air. Spring and autumn are short, pleasant transitions with gentle sun and scattered drizzle. Humidity stays high year-round and overcast skies are common due to the basin terrain.
