Düsseldorf's Climate
Düsseldorf sits on the banks of the Rhine in North Rhine-Westphalia, western Germany, with a mild temperate oceanic climate, rain spread through the year and few extremes. Summers (June–August) are warm and comfortable, usually 19–25°C, with the occasional short heatwave alongside showers and thunderstorms, while winters (December–February) are mild but damp, cloudy and grey, hovering around 1–6°C with rarely heavy snow. Spring and autumn are cool, breezy and often foggy along the Rhine valley.
