Fengxiang's Climate
Fengxiang lies in the Fengxian area of southern Shanghai, on the shore of Hangzhou Bay in eastern China, and has a humid subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons and a strong maritime influence. Summers (June–August) are hot and humid, usually 30–35°C, with frequent showers and thunderstorms, an early-summer plum-rain spell and the occasional typhoon in late summer and early autumn, while winters (December–February) are cool and damp at 3–8°C, with snow rare. Spring is wet and drizzly, while autumn (October–November) is dry, cool and the most comfortable time of year.
