Fuyang's Climate
Fuyang lies in northwestern Anhui province in eastern China, on the inland plain along the Huai River, giving it a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons. Summers (June–August) are hot, humid and wet, typically 30–35°C with showers, thunderstorms and the early-summer plum-rain drizzle; winters (December–February) turn cold and dry, usually 0–8°C, with occasional frost and light snow. Spring and autumn are short transitional seasons, milder, drier and the most pleasant of the year.
