Ganzhou's Climate
Ganzhou lies in southern Jiangxi province in south-eastern China, set among the hills of the upper Gan River basin, with a humid subtropical monsoon climate. Summers (June–September) are hot and humid, with daytime highs typically 32–36°C, plentiful showers and thunderstorms, and sometimes indirect effects from coastal typhoons. Winters (December–February) are mild and damp rather than harshly cold, usually 6–12°C.
