Huizhou's Climate
Huizhou is a city in Guangdong Province in southeastern China, near the South China Sea coast within the greater Pearl River delta region. It has a humid subtropical monsoon climate with a long, hot, humid summer and a short, mild winter. Summers (May–September) are muggy and sticky, with frequent showers, thunderstorms and the occasional tropical cyclone off the sea, and daytime highs usually 31–35°C. Winters (December–February) are drier and milder, around 15–20°C by day and rarely truly cold. Rain is concentrated in the middle of the year, while late autumn and early winter are the driest and most pleasant.
