Jinhua's Climate
Jinhua lies in central Zhejiang province in eastern China, set in an inland basin far from the coast, with a humid subtropical monsoon climate. Summers (June–September) are hot and sticky, usually 32–38°C, with frequent showers, thunderstorms and the occasional remnant of a typhoon, while winters (December–February) are cool and damp, dipping to 2–6°C but rarely bringing snow. In between, spring is long and drizzly, giving way to the meiyu plum rains of early summer, while autumn turns mild, dry and the most pleasant stretch of the year.
