Kunshan's Climate
Kunshan lies on the low, flat Yangtze River delta in eastern China, between Shanghai and Suzhou, and has a humid subtropical monsoon climate. Summers (June–September) are hot and muggy with very high humidity, frequent showers and thunderstorms, and the occasional Pacific typhoon, while winters (December–February) are cool, damp and overcast, typically 2–9°C with only rare frost. Late spring and early summer bring the mei-yu 'plum rains,' a spell of persistent drizzle around June. Spring and autumn are mild and the most comfortable seasons of the year.
