Lianyungang's Climate
Lianyungang is a port city on the Yellow Sea in northern Jiangsu province, China, with a humid, temperate monsoon climate and four distinct seasons. Summers (June–August) are hot and humid, typically 28–32°C, with concentrated showers, thunderstorms and the occasional brush from a passing typhoon, while winters (December–February) turn cold and dry under the northeast monsoon, often hovering around 0–5°C and sometimes dropping below freezing. Spring and autumn are mild and dry, with October and November especially sunny and pleasant. The coastal setting softens temperature swings compared with the interior.
