Liuzhou's Climate
Liuzhou sits in the north-central Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China, wrapped by a bend of the Liu River amid limestone karst hills, giving it a humid subtropical monsoon climate. Summers (May–September) are hot, humid and muggy with abundant showers and thunderstorms that deliver most of the year's rainfall, temperatures typically 30–35°C, while winters (December–February) are mild and damp, seldom deeply cold, usually 8–15°C and rarely frosty. Spring is wet with persistent drizzle, and autumn (October–November) is dry, comfortable and the loveliest time of year.
