Neijiang's Climate
Neijiang lies in the Sichuan Basin of southwest China, on the banks of the Tuo River, with a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate. Summers (May–September) are hot and sticky, usually 28–35°C, with high humidity and monsoon showers and thunderstorms, while winters (December–February) are mild and damp, rarely falling below 5°C but grey, overcast and prone to the thick fog typical of the basin. Spring and autumn are gentle transitional seasons, moist and often drizzly. Sunshine is scarce year-round thanks to persistent cloud.
