Puyang's Climate
Puyang sits in the hilly western part of Zhejiang province in eastern China, well inland and far from the sea, giving it a humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons. Summers (June–September) are hot, humid and rainy, often 32–37°C, opening with the late-June 'plum rain' season before a muggy peak in July and August, with convective thunderstorms building in the afternoons. Winters (December–February) are cool and fairly damp, with daytime highs of 7–12°C and cold spells with drizzle, though snow is uncommon. Spring is cloudy and wet, while autumn in October–November is the driest, coolest and most pleasant time of year.
