Qujing's Climate
Qujing lies in northeastern Yunnan province, China, on the Yunnan-Guizhou plateau at roughly 1,900 m, giving it a mild subtropical highland climate that stays cool year-round with a small seasonal range. The wet season (May–October) is driven by the monsoon and delivers most of the rain, with frequent afternoon showers and thunderstorms. The dry season (November–April) is sunny with little rain, mild by day but chilly at night, sometimes with frost. Daytime highs sit around 18–26°C for much of the year and rarely turn truly hot thanks to the elevation.
