Taipei's Climate
Set in a basin in northern Taiwan, Taipei has a humid subtropical climate that is hot and very damp. Summer (June to September) is sweltering, with highs often above 33°C and high humidity that feels stifling, and it is also typhoon season. Winter (December to February) is cool and wet, with many drizzly, overcast days driven by the northeast monsoon, but it rarely falls below 10°C.
