Taizhou's Climate
Taizhou lies on the coast of Zhejiang province in southeastern China, facing the East China Sea, and has a humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cfa) with four seasons and a monsoon influence. Summer (June–September) is hot, humid and wet, usually 30–36°C, with an early-summer plum rains spell and tropical cyclones that can make landfall from July to September, while winter (December–February) is cool and damp, typically 5–12°C and rarely frosty. Spring and autumn are mild, with autumn the driest and most pleasant stretch. The coastal setting makes typhoons the city's most notable weather feature.
