Weifang's Climate
Weifang sits in the centre of the Shandong Peninsula in eastern China, on the plain not far from the Bohai Sea coast, and has a temperate monsoon climate that borders on humid subtropical. Summers (June–August) are hot and humid with most of the year's showers and thunderstorms, daytime highs typically 28–33°C, while winters (December–February) are cold, dry and windy, usually -5 to 3°C with occasional light snow. Spring is dry and windy with occasional dust, while autumn (September–October) is cool, dry and clear, the finest season of the year. Rainfall is heavily concentrated in summer.
