Wuhu's Climate
Wuhu is a river port on the Yangtze in Anhui province in eastern China, an inland city with a humid subtropical monsoon climate and four distinct seasons. Summers (June–September) are hot and very humid, usually 30–35°C, opening with the meiyu plum rains of June–July before a muggy stretch, and occasionally brushed by weakening typhoons. Winters (December–February) are chilly and damp, typically 3–9°C, with northerly winds and biting cold spells, though heavy snow is uncommon. Autumn (October–November) is cool, dry and the loveliest time of year.
