Wuxi's Climate
Wuxi sits in the Yangtze River delta in Jiangsu province, eastern China, beside Lake Tai, with a humid subtropical monsoon climate and four distinct seasons. Summers (June–August) are hot and muggy with high humidity, frequent showers and thunderstorms, usually 30–35°C, coinciding with the early-summer plum rains. Winters (December–February) are cold and damp, typically 2–8°C, with occasional frost. Spring is drizzly and humid, while autumn (September–November) is cool, dry and the loveliest time of year.
