Xuchang's Climate
Xuchang lies in central Henan province in central China, on the North China Plain far inland, and has a transitional humid subtropical monsoon climate with four clearly marked seasons. Summers (June–August) are hot and humid, typically 30–36°C, with showers and thunderstorms delivering most of the year's rainfall, while winters (December–February) are cold and dry, hovering around -3 to 6°C, crisp with the occasional light snow. Spring is dry and windy, whereas autumn (September–November) is cool, dry and the most pleasant time of year.
