Yichun's Climate
Yichun sits in western Jiangxi province, an inland hill country of southern China, with a humid subtropical monsoon climate marked by four seasons and high year-round humidity. Summers (June–August) are hot and muggy, typically 30–36°C, with frequent showers and thunderstorms, while winters (December–February) are cool and damp, sometimes dipping to 3–8°C during cold surges from the north, with rare light snow on higher ground. Late spring into early summer (April–June) brings the persistent plum-rain season with grey, drizzly, humid spells, and autumn (September–November) is dry and the most pleasant time of year.
