Yiwu's Climate
Yiwu is a trading city in Zhejiang province in eastern China, inland near the lower Yangtze basin, with a humid subtropical, monsoon-influenced climate and four clear seasons. Summers (June–August) are hot and humid, usually 30–36°C, with frequent showers, thunderstorms and the occasional typhoon reaching in from the coast, while winters (December–February) are cool and damp, around 6–12°C by day with cold snaps near 0°C. Early summer brings the lingering meiyu 'plum rains,' overcast and wet, while spring and autumn are the mildest, most pleasant seasons.
