Yunfu's Climate
Yunfu lies in western Guangdong, southeastern China, in the inland hills near the Xi River basin, with a humid subtropical climate strongly shaped by the monsoon. The summer is long, hot, humid and wet, stretching from April to September at usually 30–35°C, with showers, thunderstorms and the occasional typhoon that drifts in from the South China Sea, while the winter is short, mild and comparatively dry, with daytime highs around 13–18°C and deep cold a rarity. Spring is cloudy and clammy, whereas autumn is the driest and most comfortable time of year.
