Zhengzhou's Climate
Zhengzhou is the capital of Henan province in central China, set on the North China Plain near the south bank of the Yellow River, with a temperate continental climate influenced by the monsoon and four distinct seasons. Summers (June–August) are hot and humid, usually 30–35°C, with concentrated showers and thunderstorms and occasional extreme downpours that can cause flooding. Winters (December–February) are cold and dry, typically -3–7°C, with little snow. Spring is dry, windy and sometimes dusty, while autumn (September–October) is cool, dry and the most pleasant time of year.
