Zhuhai's Climate
Zhuhai lies on the southern coast of Guangdong province, China, at the mouth of the Pearl River delta next to Macau, giving it a monsoon-influenced humid subtropical climate. Summers (May–September) are hot and humid, with daytime highs of 30–34°C, frequent showers and thunderstorms, and a typhoon season that can bring heavy rain and strong winds off the South China Sea. Winters (December–February) are mild and drier, usually 12–18°C, and rarely bitterly cold. Spring and autumn are transitional, with autumn the driest and most comfortable stretch of the year.
