Zhuzhou's Climate
Zhuzhou lies in eastern Hunan in south-central China, inland along the Xiang River, and has a humid subtropical, monsoon-influenced climate with four clear seasons. Summers (June–August) are hot, muggy and wet, with daytime highs usually 33–37°C alongside showers, thunderstorms and oppressive humidity; winters (December–February) are chilly, damp and cloudy, typically 4–9°C with cold spells and drizzle. Spring and early summer are the rainiest stretch, while autumn (September–November) is cool, dry and the most comfortable time of year.
