Buraydah's Climate
Buraydah lies in the Al-Qassim region of central Saudi Arabia, on a desert plateau deep inland and far from the sea. It has a hot desert climate with the harshness typical of the Arabian interior. Summers (May–September) are extremely hot and dry, with daytime highs usually 40–46°C, blazing sun and very low humidity, while winters (December–February) bring pleasantly warm days around 18–22°C but cool to cold nights that can approach 0°C. Rain is scarce and erratic, falling mainly in spring and sometimes accompanied by dust storms.
