Comilla's Climate
Comilla sits in southeastern Bangladesh, on the fertile deltaic plain near the Indian border, with a tropical monsoon climate (Köppen Aw/Am). The monsoon (June–September) is hot, humid and very wet, often bringing waterlogging from heavy downpours. The pre-monsoon summer (March–May) is sultry at 32–36°C, punctuated by thunderstorms and sudden squalls. The cool dry season (November–February) is the most comfortable stretch, with clear skies and mild nights around 12–18°C. Cyclones off the Bay of Bengal occasionally strike in the pre- and post-monsoon months.
