Gujranwala's Climate
Gujranwala sits on the plains of Punjab in north-eastern Pakistan, far inland from the sea. It has a hot semi-arid climate shading into humid subtropical, with fierce summers and cool winters. From April to June the weather turns extremely hot and dry, with daytime highs typically 38–43°C and occasional spikes above 44°C. The monsoon from July to September brings showers, thunderstorms and high humidity that ease the heat but leave the air muggy. Winters (December–February) are cool and dry, with nights sometimes dropping to 4–8°C and dense fog in the early mornings.
