Hyderabad's Climate
Hyderabad sits in Sindh province, southeastern Pakistan, on the banks of the Indus River and not far from the Arabian Sea, giving it a hot desert climate (BWh). Summers (April–June) are extremely hot and dry, usually 38–44°C and sometimes above 45°C, though the city is famous for cooling southerly evening breezes that ease the oppressive heat. The monsoon (July–September) brings scattered showers, but total rainfall stays modest while humidity climbs. Winters (December–February) are warm and dry, with pleasant 20–28°C days and cool nights.
