Gwalior's Climate
Gwalior lies in the north of Madhya Pradesh in north-central India, deep inland, and has a hot semi-arid climate shading toward humid subtropical. Summers (April–June) are very hot and dry, with daytime highs usually 38–44°C and dusty, searing 'loo' winds. The southwest monsoon brings rain and thunderstorms from late June through September, raising humidity and cooling things noticeably. Winters (December–February) are cool and dry, around 22–26°C by day, though nights can fall to 6–9°C and mornings sometimes turn foggy.
