Kalyān's Climate
Kalyān lies in Maharashtra in western India, part of the greater Mumbai region and not far from the Arabian Sea, giving it a tropical monsoon climate. The year splits into three clear phases: a cool dry season from December to February with pleasant nights of 15–20°C; a hot season from March to May that grows muggy, often 33–38°C with rising humidity; and the southwest monsoon from June to September, which unleashes torrential rain that accounts for the bulk of the annual total in long, heavy spells. October and November form a humid, sticky transition.
