Rājkot's Climate
Rājkot lies in the middle of the Saurashtra peninsula in Gujarat, northwestern India, inland a few dozen kilometres from the coast, with a hot semi-arid climate and three clear seasons. Summers (March–June) are very hot and dry, with daytime highs usually 38–43°C and sometimes above 44°C, followed by the southwest monsoon (June–September) that delivers almost all the year's rain and brings a muggier, more humid feel, while winters (November–February) are dry, mild and pleasant, around 28–30°C by day and dropping to 10–12°C at night. Outside the monsoon the city is largely dry and sunny all year.
