Salé's Climate
Salé sits on Morocco's Atlantic coast in the northwest of the country, facing the capital Rabat across the mouth of the Bou Regreg River, and has a Mediterranean climate strongly moderated by the ocean. Summers (June–September) are hot and dry, with daytime highs usually 26–30°C, though sea breezes take the edge off the heat and skies stay almost cloudless. Winters (December–February) are mild and damp, around 8–18°C, and bring most of the year's rain. Spring and autumn are gentle and pleasant with little rain, and coastal fog can settle in during the early mornings.
