Bogota Climate
Perched on an Andean plateau at about 2,640m, Bogota has a cool tropical highland climate that stays nearly constant all year, with no distinct hot or cold season. Daytime highs typically reach only 18–20°C while nights drop to 6–9°C, with occasional light frost on clear nights. Instead of four seasons, Bogota has two rainy periods (roughly April–May and October–November) separated by drier spells, with afternoon showers being characteristic.
