Dnipro's Climate
Dnipro straddles the Dnieper River in south-central Ukraine, well inland, giving it a humid continental climate with a wide swing in temperature between the seasons. Summers (June–August) are warm and fairly dry, usually 24–30°C, with occasional heatwaves and afternoon thunderstorms. Winters (December–February) are cold, hovering around freezing and sometimes dropping below -10°C, bringing snow and frost. Spring and autumn are transitional: spring warms gradually with showers, while autumn turns cool, dry and pleasant.
