Pelentong's Climate
Pelentong lies in Johor at the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia, close to the Johor Strait and barely a degree from the equator, giving it a tropical rainforest climate that is hot and humid year-round. Temperatures stay steady, with daytime highs usually 30–33°C and nights around 24–26°C, and humidity remains high throughout. There are no four seasons; rain falls all year as afternoon convective storms, but peaks during the northeast monsoon from November to January, when flooding can occur. The relatively drier stretch tends to fall in June–August.
