Valencia's Climate
Valencia lies in an inland valley in northern Venezuela, near Lake Valencia and not far from the Caribbean coast, and at a tropical latitude it stays hot all year with only small temperature swings. Daytime highs are typically 27–33°C, while nights ease to 20–23°C thanks to the moderate elevation. Instead of four seasons, the climate splits into wet and dry: the rainy season runs May to November, bringing afternoon showers and thunderstorms and higher humidity, while the dry season from December to April is sunny, clear and markedly drier. This is a classic tropical savanna climate.
