Zapopan's Climate
Zapopan is part of the Guadalajara metropolitan area in Jalisco, western Mexico, sitting on a plateau at roughly 1,550 m, so despite its low latitude the climate stays mild all year. It is a highland subtropical climate with two main seasons: a dry season (November–May) that is warm and clear, 25–32°C by day with cool nights, and a rainy season (June–October) cooled by near-daily afternoon thunderstorms, with daytime highs of 24–28°C. April and May are usually hottest just before the rains, while winter nights can dip to 6–10°C.
