Aba's Climate
Aba is a commercial city in southeastern Nigeria, in Abia State within the tropical rainforest belt near the Niger Delta, just a few degrees north of the equator, giving it a hot, humid tropical monsoon climate all year. Daytime highs usually run 30–33°C with little seasonal change. The long rainy season stretches from about March to October, bringing very frequent showers and thunderstorms that peak from July to September with heavy rainfall, while the short dry season from December to February is sunnier and sometimes touched by the dry harmattan wind that carries dust from the Sahara. Humidity stays high nearly year-round.
