Evaton's Climate
Evaton lies in Gauteng province, south of Johannesburg on South Africa's Highveld plateau, at around 1,500 m of elevation, giving it a mild, dry highland subtropical climate (Köppen Cwb). Being in the southern hemisphere, the warm rainy season falls in October–March with afternoon thunderstorms and showers and daytime highs of 25–29°C, while the cold dry season from May to August brings clear, sunny skies but nights that can drop to 0–5°C with frost. Day-to-night temperature swings are large year-round thanks to the altitude and dry air.
