Bandar Lampung's Climate
Bandar Lampung is a port city at the southern tip of Sumatra, Indonesia, set on Lampung Bay overlooking the Sunda Strait just a few degrees south of the equator, giving it a hot, humid tropical monsoon climate all year. Daytime highs stay steady around 30–33°C with nights near 23–24°C and little change from month to month. The wet season runs roughly from November to April, bringing frequent showers and thunderstorms with occasional heavy downpours, while the relatively dry season from May to September is sunnier with slightly gentler humidity. The hills ringing the bay make afternoon rain fairly common.
